"Searching for Light: Michael's Information for a Time of Change is a book of clear, practical information and specific exercises to assist the reader during a time of transformation, both personal and planetary. The result of channeling from Michael through Carol Heideman, Searching for Light covers lifeplans and growth with joy, the White House, working with Universal Energy, seven skills needed for happiness, achieving Dharma through efficiency, a look at the future, and much more. Searching for Light is an excellent New Age self-help book for the metaphysical studies shelf!"

New Age Retailer, October 1995

"These are the channeled (and easy to read) teachings of Michael, a soul group of about 1000 entities. This book is similiar to Kryon and Bringers of the Dawn. Searching for Light contains updated information about the earth energy shift and explains more about the people who have chosen to be present at this time to help with earth's transformation.

'Seekers' will enjoy the simple, loving presentation of Michael's most recent information. The book is divided into major sections covering planetary and personal transformation, working with the new energy, and techniques to achieve the fulfillment of our pre-birth spiritual plans.

Michael answers many questions regarding earth's changes and how these changes are waking up the Lightworkers in time to start or continue their work. It also explains why some are experiencing a lack of direction, feeling stuck, or are waiting for something to happen with anxious anticipation.

Michael suggests that there are 'secret codes' throughout the book designed to bypass the reader's conscious mind and trigger a subconscious lifting of the veil. Lightworkers are encouraged to listen up and choose growth with joy. Michael also provides simple methods with which to achieve growth with joy."

"...This book takes the reader through 17 chapters of self-realizing truths, and universal truths as well. All the chapters and sub-chapters are laid out clearly, and flow into one another easily. The writing is direct and non-intellectual (I mean that in a positive way), allowing the reader to pursue these deep life-changing questions. There seems to be a real sense of altruistic guidance in this book. It is nonetheless a workbook for the seeker. If you are on a path of exploring your reason for being, or if you are looking for the answers to 'The meaning of life,' here is a good place to start."

"...Both a primer on spiritual growth and a guidebook to the changing energies bathing the planet, Searching for Light helps prepare the reader for manifesting his or her life plan. Focusing on joyful Earthly experience as humanity's goal, Michael's guidance is uplifting and enthusiastic...For those who are acquainted with Michael's work, reading this book will be like a reunion with an old friend. It greatly compliments the work of Seth and the Pleiadians."

"...Searching for Light contains many practical and useful tools. Starting from the concept that blockages in the flow of energy are a cause of distress, Heideman's Michael guides the reader through visualization techniques that adjust, recalibrate, and fine-tune the 'control knobs' and 'control valves' that influence the flow of energy. It is to Michael's credit that he introduces many new techniques and variations on the old.

...There are many fascinating metaphors in this book. One of the most intriguing is the metaphor of the White House, which goes back to Atlantis, where it presumably existed as a free-standing energy chamber. The White House, as Michael uses it, is one of the many 'secret codes' in the book designed to trigger creative thoughts, feelings, and images in the reader.

...In conclusion, Searching for Light is an excellent book that can, in many ways, be considered a handbook for the New Age. It has a very fine balance between practical and metaphysical ideas..."

Metaphysical Reviews, March 1995

"One of the best books published on the transformation, and how to prepare for it, is now available...jam-packed with direct-from-the-heart advice about what is needed for success.

Searching for Light shows us how to develop the skills for achieving happiness by using the additional energy now available during this wonderful time of change. And the marvelous news is that we can do this if it is our preference to do so...by utilizing the intuition we all have.

Searching for Light is a bounty of compassion and integral, magical lessons. Michael reminds us that we are all magicians who forgot the magic. Through Carol Heideman, we have the keys to use the extra energy now available to begin our transformation."

Spirit of Change, January/February 1995

"...Searching for Light is both practical and cosmic. Some of the topics covered include personal and planetary transformation, lifeplans, working with universal energy laws, seven skills needed for happiness and achieving dharma through efficiency. The focus is always upbeat and joyous, a great context for absorbing the practical information presented. Michael always illustrates his points by referring to current world or personal conditions. This helps the reader easily identify with what is being said.

There's a 'cheerleader' feeling to this book and it's the cosmic others who are cheering us Earthlings on. But there's also a sense that 'they' and 'us' are in this together and as we succeed, they also move along..."
